Mustache

Mustache has suffered alot in western society. Many younger generations, sometimes called as Generation G, targetted it with great hatred in western society. This group of people considered mustache as for homosexuals or cops only. And sometimes for "shifty people". The case is some what opposite in the east as mustache has its own place in the society. Famous leaders and tv actors has mustaches. To the extreme, in Pakhtun culture a man without mustahce is a man without soul. While some consider clean shave as a sign of being homosexual. However, it greatly depends on the culture and society. Its not just a thin line of hair or bushy hair around Lip, but there is alot more associated with it.



Majority of younger generation in any society does not wear mustache any more. It may be because of the modern pop culture icons have totally given it up except a few. Or it may be because opposite gender doesnot find it attractive. It is arguable as from good old days I still remember Magnum P.I., when they tend to show English programes on STN, used to wear a thick mustache. Yet indeed mustache makes a person look older and mature.
