Its pretty obvious that microsoft rules the world, most of the parts of world. If it joins the opensource development the technology will boom up. It will be like a nuclear bomb in development of new powerfull systems. Not only microsoft, but all other companies like apple and even yahoo. However it'll be a loop hole and the current software developers wont handle it. And new companies will appear on the map of the world. Opensource surely have its opposite and negative evil hacking developers, taking their time perfect the beat, sharp their knives and attack on the world for destruction of computers.
